How GLPInfo.com makes money
Trust in a comparison site depends on knowing who pays it. Here is our full commercial model, in plain English.
1. Referral fees
When you click through to a provider from GLPInfo.com, we may earn a fee from that provider. This never affects our organic comparisons: rankings are calculated only from published prices, service data and your selected preferences, and providers cannot pay to change them. Providers that pay us nothing are listed and ranked identically to providers that do.
2. Sponsored placements
We may show up to three clearly labelled sponsored provider cards in a block that is visually separate from organic results, each with a "Why am I seeing this?" explanation on the same screen. Sponsored placement is a paid promotion: it never changes organic ranking, verification status, review data or evidence dates, and sponsored providers are held to the same evidence standards as every other listing. New Health currently pays for a sponsored placement on our comparison pages.
3. Independence
GLPInfo.com is operated by State Media LLC and is an independent business. Paid sponsorships never affect our rankings: organic results are ordered by published prices and evidence only, every sponsored placement is clearly labelled and kept visually separate from them, and sponsored providers' prices are checked by the same automated process as every other provider's.
What we do not do
- We do not sell leads. We do not collect or pass on health information, BMI, eligibility answers or treatment selections.
- We do not sell organic rankings, verification badges, review scores or evidence dates.
- We do not let commercial staff alter editorial or data conclusions.
