How is the UK GLP-1 price index calculated?
Every figure on this page is computed live from the prices GLPInfo reads on each provider's own public pages, re-checked automatically every 12 hours. Lowest, median, average and highest are taken across providers with a published price at the treatment's usual starting dose. Providers without a confirmed price are excluded from the statistics rather than counted as zero. Full methodology.
Can I download the data?
Yes. The full dataset behind this index is free at /data/v1/prices.json and /data/v1/prices.csv, with sources, observation dates and GPhC verification links per record. Licence and citation instructions are at the data feed page.
Why is there no price history chart yet?
The index publishes only observations our checker has actually made. Historical trend sections will appear as monthly snapshots accumulate; we never reconstruct or estimate past prices we did not record.
