This page states how GLPInfo content gets made, checked and corrected. It exists so you can hold us to it.

Who writes what

Pages are written by the GLPInfo editorial team with AI assistance, and every content page is approved by the site owner before publication. Each guide carries a visible provenance block with its published, updated and next-review dates, and states plainly whether a named clinician has reviewed it. No page currently carries a medical-review label, because none has been signed off by a named clinician; when one is, the credit will name them and their professional registration number.

Sourcing rules

Clinical facts come only from primary sources: the MHRA, each medicine's patient information leaflet and summary of product characteristics on the electronic medicines compendium, NICE, the NHS, the manufacturer, and the peer-reviewed trial publications, each cited on the page that uses them. Trial figures are always attributed to their trial by name, and cross-trial comparisons carry a caveat because they are unreliable. We do not use secondary health sites as sources.

How prices are verified

Every price is read from the provider's own public pages, carries its observation date, and re-checks automatically every 12 hours. Prices we cannot read are marked not confirmed and never ranked. The full pipeline, including how first-order offers and conditions are handled, is documented in the methodology, and the complete dataset is free at the data feed.

Advertising separation

Organic rankings use price and evidence only; no provider can pay to affect them. Sponsored placements are always labelled, are held to the same evidence standards, and are documented in how we make money, including our related-party relationship with New Health.

Corrections

Errors get fixed fast and honestly. Anyone can report one via the corrections page, including providers correcting their own listings; material corrections update the page's dated provenance block. Content pages are re-reviewed on a scheduled cadence shown on each page, and price-bearing pages regenerate from live data on every visit.

Boundaries

GLPInfo is information, not medical advice, and is not a pharmacy or prescriber. No page tells you which medicine or dose is right for you: these are prescription-only medicines and those decisions sit with you and a qualified prescriber.
